  KATE'S AVEDA STORY I dreamed of becoming a hair stylist in middle school,

  but my parents really wanted me to go to college and pursue a different career

  path, so I did. In my early 30's I decided to go to beauty school and it was the

  best decision I ever made. Hair did not come easy for me, but I was willing to work

  hard to learn what I needed to be successful. Getting my license was a dream come

  true. I found Aveda back in college, I loved Shampure and the Love fragrance. I was

  thrilled when I got hired at Atelier, and I was excited to learn the Aveda color line.

  Working behind the chair, making hair dreams come true for my guests is a dream

  come true for me! I love to keep myself well educated to continue to develop myself

  as an artist.  I love all aspects of my craft, but bangs and highlights are my absolute favorite!
